One of a kind;
Today I learned that whatever I have absolute love in is what makes me uniquely me.
I have come to learn that sometimes in my life, there are people who intentionally or unintentionally say or do things which makes me doubt myself.
It is important that I stay true to myself and not be influenced to turn into someone I am not because in the end, who I am is what makes me special at least to myself and who I really am is what makes me one of a kind.
Ultimately, I believe that who I truly am will lead me to everything which is meant to be even though it will take hard work, diligence, courage, perseverance, a sense of humour, adversities, challenges and a strong faith.
I am already who I'm meant to be. The key is to live life courageously as myself and leave the rest to unfold naturally.
Indeed!
Good day!

Mistake;
“When you find your path, you must not be afraid. You need to have sufficient courage to make mistakes. Disappointment, defeat, and despair are the tools God uses to show us the way.”
- Paulo Coelho
“I'm afraid that we all make mistakes. One of the things that defines our character is how we handle mistakes. If we lie about having made a mistake, then it can't be corrected and it festers. On the other hand, if we give up just because we made a mistake, even a big mistake, none of us would get far in life.”
- Terry Goodkind
“With every mistake, we must surely be learning.”
- George Harrison
“Mistakes are the growing pains of wisdom.”
- William Jordan

Dear ma;
“Everyone grieves in different ways. For some, it could take longer or shorter. I do know it never disappears. An ember still smolders inside me. Most days, I don’t notice it, but, out of the blue, it’ll flare to life.”
- Maria V. Snyder
Dear ma,
I miss your warmth. I miss your smile. I miss your cooking. I miss hearing the sound of your voice be it loud or soft. I miss the touch of your hand in mine. I miss taking care of you. I miss lying next to you and telling you about my day, my hopes, my dreams and my thoughts. I miss the diiferent ways you show your love for me.
Above all, I miss you. I miss your mere presence in my life.

Reflect;
I am utterly glad that I took time off from work yesterday to attend my graduation.
Today, yesterday is a beautiful memory forever etched in my heart.
I felt joy, love and hope in ITE's auditorium during the ceremony. I witnessed faces full of motivation and hearts filled with a powerful determination to achieve greatness. Meeting my friends and lecturers were a pleasant and wonderful experience!
Throughout the graduation, there were three things which left a deep impact on me.
First, was seeing all my classmates graduate with a new sense of self assurance in each and everyone!
Secondly, was seeing my dearest friend, Habiba graduate as a top student of Early Childhood Education. I have witnessed for myself her determination and persevering will to achieve her aspirations. She is truly an inspiration in my eyes.
Finally, I was impacted when I heard the top scholar of 'Higher Nitec in Business and Services', Ivan, deliver his valedictorian speech.
His story and journey is not an unlikely one but it is a story which most of us can definitely relate to. His sincerity, passion and burning flame to succeed was apparent.
At the age of 23, Ivan graduated as a top scholar after facing setbacks in his life. I recall him saying, "We are never too old to make a start." His words helped to put some things into perspective. His success and achievements opened my eyes to the power of a strong determination, dedication and a sense of commitment.
Life is never always smooth sailing. We all meet with different obstacles in different chapters of our lives. Some emerge strong, some emerge wiser and some people take some time to discover a silver lining hidden beneath challenges. Eventually, we all make our own choices and I am very happy that Ivan is witnessing the wonder of the choices he made.
Inspiration is everywhere. Yesterday I found inspiration in the words and determination of a young man name Ivan. Today, I may find inspiration in someone or something else. It will serve as a source of motivation for me to persevere in my long winding journey!

Impact;
I watched 'Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close' recently. It is now one of the best movies I have ever seen.
Apart from the fact that I adore Sandra Bullock's and Tom Hank's amazing acting, there are a number of things I love about this movie.
I love the message instilled in this movie about how sometimes the things we are looking for are not out of our reach but instead, it is very close to us. It is the process of searching and the journey it brings in searching for something which will eventually let us experience the power of determination, courage and perseverance.
I love how this movie show the unconditional love and great lengths which parent goes to in taking care of their child.
I love the perseverance and great determination of the character of Oscar, the child who went all out to look for an answer which can set him free and let go of his father. I love how the character of Oscar unfold in this movie!
I was impacted by this movie! (;
