THERE IS GOODNESS IS EVERYONE

All At Once by The Fray (lyrics)

There are certain people you just keep coming back to
She is right in front of you
You begin to wonder could you find a better one
Compared to her now she's in question

And all at once the crowd begins to sing
Sometimes the hardest thing and the right thing are the same

Maybe you want her, maybe you need her
Maybe you started to compare to someone not there

Looking for the right one you line up the world to find
Where no questions cross your mind
But she won't keep on waiting for you without a doubt
Much longer for you to sort it out

And all at once the crowd begins to sing
Sometimes the hardest thing and the right thing are the same

Maybe you want her, maybe you need her
Maybe you started to compare to someone not there
Maybe you want it, maybe you need it
Maybe it's all you're running from
Perfection will not come

And all at once the crowd begins to sing
Sometimes
We'd never know what's wrong without the pain
Sometimes the hardest thing and the right thing are the same

Maybe you want her, maybe you need her
Maybe you've started to compare to someone not there
Maybe you want it, maybe you need it
Maybe it's all you're running from
Perfection will not come

Maybe you want her, maybe you need her
Maybe you had her, maybe you lost her to another
To another

I'm trying to figure out a poem and a prose (for Literature) and also- ways of how to get all the facts of different subjects into my dear brain.

Oh! By the way, a wise person told me today that "Kindness Is A Great Thing." :)

Stones

In case anyone is wondering how I feel, listen to the latest song on my playlist. Check out the lyrics. I figured I could always relate to a song which defines exactly how I feel.

10,000 stones by Adrianne (Lyrics)

My days are filled with mistakes
Some that I didn't make
I carry them around
Some people don't feel a thing

Some kind of blissful dream
Wish I could live that now
oh I wish I could live that now

10,000 stones are hanging
deep in my heart
no I don't know how they
don't tear me apart
how could I ever believe
10,000 stones would build
the best of me.

I've seen a lot in my life
I've seen two wrongs make a right
When everything was crashing

I know that you got your plans
You're always taking your stand

But I was only asking
I was never asking for ..

who knows what you think of me now
knowing sooner or later
the truth would come out
but I don't want to look back
don't want to look back to

10,000 stones hanging deep in my heart
no I don't know how they don't tear me apart
how could I ever believe

10,000 stones would save the fool in me
10,000 stones would be a strange blessing
10,000 stones would build the best of me.

...

I feel like adding colours to my life. But I could only add so much, you know? :)

Almost seems unreal.

"All your life you are told things you cannot do. All your life they will say you are not good enough or strong enough or talented enough; they will say you're the wrong height or the wrong weight or the wrong type to play this or be this or achieve this. THEY WILL TELL YOU NO, a thousand times no, until all the no's become meaningless. All your life they will tell you no, quite firmly and very quickly. AND YOU WILL TELL THEM YES."

again & again

I quote from the movie '17 again',

"When you're young, everything feels like the end of the world.
It's not.
It's just the beginning."

AND
this:

"You might have to meet a few more jerks, but one day you're gonna meet a boy who treats you the way you deserve to be treated. Like the sun rises and sets with you."

I agree with the quote on how everything feels like the end of the world when you're young. Know it all too well. I'm not sure about the second quote though. As usual, I always have my doubts. :)

By the way, I managed to get by today pretty smoothly. The first day of Raya was apparently different without my ma but I have to learn to live with it.

P.S: To my cousin Nurul & Liyana: Thank you for the times you both were always there for me. :)

Vida.

Bless The Broken Road; Carrie Underwood. (Lyrics)

"I set out on a narrow way many years ago
Hoping I would find true love along the broken road
But I got lost a time or two
Wiped my brow and kept pushing through
I couldn't see how every sign pointed straight to you
Every long lost dream lead me to where you are
This much I know is true
That God blessed the broken road
That led me straight to you

Every long lost dream lead me to where you are
Others who broke my heart they were like northern stars
Pointing me on my way into your loving arms
This much I know is true
That God blessed the broken road
That led me straight to you."

Ordinary NOT

Great. What a night. I can't seem to sleep peacefully at all. No can't do.

My head is spinnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnning.

"And as he spoke, he spoke ordinary words
Although they did not feel
For I felt what I had not felt before
You'd swear those words could heal.
And as I looked up into those eyes
His vision borrows mine.
And I know he's no stranger,
For I feel I've held him for all of time.

And he said take my hand,
Live while you can
Don't you see your dreams lie right in the palm of your hand
In the palm of your hand."

My side of the story

My Side Of The Story by Hodges. (Lyrics)

A cold wind blows
I am shivering
My body aches, as my heart is breaking
Why is life, making me hollow
Why is happiness casting me in the shadows, in the shadows
Hold on, dont turn and walk away
Save me

And I cry these words, but nobody came
I'm all alone, running scared, losing my way in the dark
I tried to get up, stand on a prayer, but I keep crashing down hard
This is my side of the story
Only my side of the story
And nobody cares, nobody's there, no one will hear
My side of the story

Emptiness its all around me, I try to catch my breath, barely surviving
I cant go on and I've come undone there's nothing left in me
Hold on, don't turn and walk away
Save me

And I cry these words, but nobody came
I'm all alone, running scared, losing my way in the dark
I tried to get up, stand on a prayer, but I keep crashing down hard
This is my side of the story
Only my burden to bear
And nobody cares, nobody's there, no one will hear

As I fall down, hold on
As I fall away
I cry these words and nobody came
I'm all alone, running scared, losing my way in the dark
I tried to get up, stand on a prayer, but I keep crashing down hard
This is my side of the story
Only my side of the story
My side of the story
Only my burden to bear
Nobody cares, nobody's there, no one will hear
My side of the story
