"I'm moving on
At last I can see life has been patiently waiting for me
And I know there's no guarantees, but I'm not alone
There comes a time in everyone's life
When all you can see are the years passing by
And I have made up my mind that those days are gone..."
- Rascal Flatts
I think the last thing you will want to say
to a person who is grieving is "it's time you let go."
I'm speaking from experience, really.
Grief is different for everyone.
I wish people will stop expecting so much out of other people,
thinking that they know what's best.
Presently, a friend of mine just lost her loved one.
I realised I could not find the right words to say.
I just wanted her to know
that I will be there if she ever need someone.
I pray that no matter how long it takes,
her wounds will eventually heal.
